Fabric: flannel is brushed after weaving, raising a fine nap that holds warm air against the skin — the reason it feels warmer than its weight suggests. This one is substantial enough for real winter without turning into a duvet, and it softens with every wash rather than going stiff.
Fit & sizing: one size, cut deliberately loose and oversized. It measures 37.8 inches from shoulder to hem, so it falls around the knee on most people, and 59.6 inches around the chest laid flat. If you are between sizes in everything else, this is the piece that solves it.
